3. Online Store

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to display and sell products.

You may not use this website or our products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose. You may not transmit malicious code, interfere with the website’s security or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website.

4. Products and Services

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, specifications, images, prices and availability accurately.

Product colours and appearance may differ slightly depending on the customer’s device and display settings.

Products may have limited availability. We reserve the right to discontinue products, correct errors and limit quantities where reasonably necessary.

Forntech sells solar, electrical and electronic products. Installation is not included unless expressly stated in writing. We may provide customers with the contact details of independent installers, but those installers do not act as employees or agents of Forntech.

5. Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only after payment has been successfully processed and Forntech has confirmed the order.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

• A product is unavailable

• The price or product information contains a genuine error

• Payment cannot be verified

• Fraud or unauthorised activity is reasonably suspected

• Delivery cannot reasonably be completed

If we cancel a paid order, the amount paid will be refunded using the original payment method.

6. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in South African rand unless stated otherwise.

Forntech is not currently registered for VAT. No VAT is charged or represented as being included in the displayed price.

Delivery charges are calculated or communicated separately where applicable.

Customers must provide accurate billing, contact and delivery information. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We deliver throughout South Africa using third-party courier services, including The Courier Guy.

Estimated handling and delivery times are provided in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by outlying locations, courier delays, weather, public holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers must inspect delivered goods promptly and report damaged, defective or incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Returns, Refunds and Warranties

Returns, refunds, exchanges and warranty claims are handled according to our Refund, Return and Warranty Policy and applicable South African law.

Customers may have statutory rights concerning online cooling-off periods and defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods. Nothing in these Terms excludes those rights.

9. Electrical Product Installation

Inverters, batteries and other regulated electrical equipment must be installed by a suitably qualified and registered electrical professional.

Where required, the installation must comply with applicable South African standards and have a valid Electrical Certificate of Compliance.

Incorrect installation, tampering, misuse or operation outside the manufacturer’s specifications may affect warranty coverage, subject to applicable consumer law.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors, inaccuracies or omissions involving product descriptions, availability, prices, promotions, delivery charges or other website content.

If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate option, which may include confirming the corrected order or receiving a refund.

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, couriers and external websites.

These third parties operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies. Forntech is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control.

Third-party brand names, logos and product images remain the property of their respective owners.
